Installing Explyt Enterprise Platform

For Explyt Enterprise Platform to work fully within a corporate infrastructure, installing the Explyt plugin on workstations is not enough. Two key components must also be deployed:

  • Explyt Server — responsible for license management and centralized system monitoring.
  • LLM Server — provides secure interaction with language models inside the corporate perimeter.

Before you start the deployment​

To install Explyt Server, we will provide you with:

  • a corporate license key,
  • an Ansible playbook for automated deployment.

To get the license key, send a request to sales@explyt.com.

To generate the license key, you will need to provide:

  • the IP address or domain name that will be used to host the server;
  • the number of plugin users included in the corporate subscription;
  • the desired key validity period.

How to deploy Explyt Server?​

Once you have received the license key and the customized Ansible playbook, follow Deploying Explyt Server

⚠️ Please note: the monitoring system is not mandatory, but we recommend enabling it. Telemetry is collected within your company's perimeter and is not sent to external sources. If you wish, you can share it with us — for example, to help reproduce and fix problems that have occurred.

Minimum computing resource requirements: 2 CPU, 8 Gb RAM, 30 Gb Storage.

How to deploy LLM Server?​

To integrate a language model, we offer two deployment options:

  • VPC: on the servers of a cloud provider;
  • On-premise: within your company's perimeter.

If you plan to deploy LLM Server inside the corporate perimeter, make sure the infrastructure meets the minimum specifications:

RAM256 GB
Storage512 GB

If your infrastructure does not meet these requirements, write to sales@explyt.com — we will help you choose the optimal solution.

You can also connect your own language model. Keep in mind, however, that such models may be of lower quality and are not fine-tuned for the tasks of the Explyt plugin. As a result, this may negatively affect the accuracy and stability of the tool.

How to install the Explyt plugin in the IDE?​

The installation procedure depends on the chosen deployment option:

  • VPC: follow the plugin installation steps from the instructions
  • On-premise: request the plugin distribution and instructions at sales@explyt.com.

You must use the build that matches the version of Explyt Server deployed in your perimeter.

After the plugin is installed, its start window opens.

  1. Choose the Enterprise plan
  2. Enter the license key you were given

Explyt Enterprise Platform is ready to use!

How to connect other tools to the Explyt gateway?​

Besides the Explyt plugin, other AI tools (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Kilo Code, Cline, OpenCode, Codex in ChatGPT, Codex CLI) can be connected to the gateway using the OpenAI-compatible URL and API key issued by the administrator. See Connecting Explyt Enterprise Platform.
